Practical Program

Practical training for the PPL(A) license

Turn theory into actual flight hours

Practical training for the license PPL(A) in Akademia Pilotów This is the moment when theoretical knowledge comes to life. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you’ll learn the practical skills of flying an aircraft, making decisions, and flying safely—from your first taxiing run all the way to solo flights.

The training is conducted in accordance with the requirements EASA / ULC and prepares them for independent, responsible flying in air traffic.

Scope of the PPL(A) practical training

The program includes at least 45 flight hours, in accordance with the regulations for the PPL(A) license, including:

  • training with an instructor (dual),
  • solo flights,
  • navigation flights,
  • takeoffs and landings at various airports,
  • normal and emergency procedures,
  • flights in controlled and uncontrolled airspace.

Each stage of the training is conducted at a pace tailored to the student, with an emphasis on safe and responsible flight operations, rather than just “clocking in the hours.”

What does the hands-on training involve?

Every training flight is preceded by pre-flight briefing, and once it is over, debriefing, during which the maneuvers performed and piloting decisions are discussed.

The training covers, among other things:

  • taxiing and ground handling,
  • takeoffs and landings in various configurations,
  • circling flights over the airport,
  • flights within the zone and along the route,
  • unusual and emergency situations,
  • preparation for solo flights and the practical exam.

Solo flights – a pilot’s true moment

One of the most important stages of the training is first solo flight. This is the moment when the flight instructor leaves the aircraft, and you fly completely on your own—responsibly and in accordance with procedures.

It’s not just a requirement of the training program, but also one of the most memorable moments in a pilot’s life.

Fleet and training facilities

The training is conducted at tried-and-true CRUISER PS-28 training aircraft, regularly maintained and prepared for intensive training.

Thanks to state-of-the-art facilities and clearly defined procedures, students learn to fly in an environment that closely resembles actual aircraft operations.
