Who We Are

We are a Declared Training Organisation (DTO) operating under EASA regulations. We provide PPL(A) and LAPL(A) training at Zator airfield (EPZT), one of the few training locations in Poland with a concrete runway. This allows training all year round.

What sets us apart

Training

• 680 m concrete runway – we fly all year round, without winter breaks. Most schools with grass runways lose 3–4 months each year.
• Instructors with airline experience – active ATPL holders and ULC examiners. You learn from professional pilots, not hobbyists.
• One price, no hidden costs — PPL(A) at 44,700 PLN gross includes all flight hours. No membership fees, landing fees or fuel surcharges.
• Flexible schedule – we fit training around your availability. Intensive training can take as little as 2 months.

Fleet and facilities

• 3× PS-28 Cruiser – identical EASA-certified training aircraft with Rotax 912 ULS engines (100 hp).
• 11,000-hour service life – the longest in its class. Regular inspections every 100 hours.
• Zator Airport (EPZT) – a concrete runway, hangar, briefing room and technical facilities.
• Location – Gierałtowiczki near Zator, 50 minutes from Kraków and 60 minutes from Katowice.

Akademia Pilotów is a registered Declared Training Organisation under EASA regulations. Our training programmes meet the requirements of the Polish Civil Aviation Authority (ULC).
