Getting your pilot's license is a structured and exciting process. Discover what flight training is like from start to finish\u2014from your first theory lesson, through in-flight training, all the way to the state exam. 1. Overview: A Step-by-Step Guide to Obtaining a License<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although the entire training process may seem complicated, it consists of a few logical steps. We guide you through them seamlessly, providing support from your first visit to the airport all the way to receiving your license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This program includes an initial aptitude assessment, thorough theoretical training, intensive practical flight training, instruction in independent navigation, and culminates in a state exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n

2. Timeframe: How long does it all take?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is one of the most frequently asked questions. A typical PPL(A) training course lasts, on average, 8 to 12 months<\/strong>. This timeframe depends mainly on your availability and the frequency of your flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Foundations: Theoretical Course (100 hours)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before you take the controls, you need to acquire a solid foundation of knowledge. The ground school consists of 100 hours of instruction and is the foundation of safe flying. During this training, you will learn key topics such as meteorology, aviation law, navigation, and the principles of flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The Core of the Training: Practical Program (at least 45 hours)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is the essence of flying and the most exciting part of the course. You\u2019ll spend at least 45 hours in the air (for the PPL(A)), learning maneuvers, takeoffs, landings, and navigation flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Practical training consists of flights with an instructor, zone flights, and circuit flights around the airfield, culminating in your first solo flight. It\u2019s a moment you\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n

After completing the theoretical and practical training, your skills will be assessed by a state commission. The exam consists of two parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
